How to Edit a Pledge Record

To edit a pledge record:
- You must have permission to access the fund the batch is associated with.
AND
- You must have Offering > Add/Edit permissions tied to your login credentials. This permission is set in the Administration module on the ParishSOFT Modules tab
in the staff user's record. Access to the Administration module is restricted to organization administrators only.
- Open the Pledges page.
- Find the desired pledge record. Do one of the following:
- In the Search box in the toolbar, enter the Search By value in the toolbar to find the record. (Position your mouse over the Info icon to find out what values the Search bar accepts.). Then,
click .
- Click to open the Filter panel on the right. Enter one or more filter criteria. If desired, set filters to specify the order in which you want the filter results displayed. Then, click this button
at the top of the filter panel: .
A list of pledges matching your search criteria is displayed.
- Select the donor's name to open their pledge record.
- In the Adjustments field, click this button: to open the Pledge Adjustments window.
- The Adjustments window lists prior changes made to the pledge. Do one of the following:
- As necessary, modify the prior changes. For example, you can update the amount of a prior adjustment or change the pledge date.
- Delete a prior adjustment. To do this, click this button for the one you want to delete: .
- Click to save your changes.
The system updates the pledge record with your changes.
