How to Cancel a Sustaining Gift

If a donor informs you that they to cancel future payments toward a sustaining gift, use the following procedure to cancel the gift.

Open the Pledges page.
Find the sustaining gift record. If you need instructions, go to How to Find a Sustaining Gift Record.
Open the gift record. Then, in the End Date field, enter the date on which to stop payments toward the gift.
In the Reason field (required), provide an explanation for the cancellation.
Click to save the change.

Future recurring payments toward the gift are canceled and will stop on the end date specified.
