How to Add a Note to a Class Record
You can use the Notes feature to provide comments about a class, such as ideas and reflections on activities, specific topics you want to include, or questions students asked that you want to follow up on. This topic shows you how to add a note to a
class record and how to update an existing note to add or remove information.

Adding a Note to a Class Record
- In the navigation bar, select Attendance to open the Attendance page.
- In the Terms list, select the term in which the class is held.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to find desired class. Then, click
.
A list of classes matching your search criteria is displayed.
- Click this button at the end of the row for the class for which you want to add a note:

- The class record opens.
- In the header, click
. Then, in the Note field, type the text of the note. Click
to save the note.
Updating an Existing Note in a Class Record
- In the navigation bar, select Attendance to open the Attendance page.
- In the Terms list, select the term in which the class is held.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to find desired class. Then, click

A list of classes matching your search criteria is displayed.
- Click this button at the end of the row for the class for which you want to add a note:

- The class record opens. The text of an existing note appears in the header.
- To edit the note, click
. Make the desired change, and then click
to save the change.
